A through hardening bearing steel intended for rolling contact and other high fatigued applications.

100CR6 type (SAE 52100) is used mainly for small and medium-sized bearing components. 803F is one of many versions of 100CR6, all of which offer high fatigue strength and hardness and reasonable wear resistance.

In particular 803F provides all the properties of standard 100CR6 with a controlled sulphur content for consistent machining properties.

Type 100CR6 – Ovako 803 is a group of through hardening bearing steels intended for rolling contact and other high fatigued applications. In the hardened condition the high hardness, high strength and high cleanliness provides the steel with the right properties to withstand high cycle, high stress fatigue.

100CR6 is mainly used for small and medium sized bearing components. It is also regularly used for other machine components that require high tensile strength and high hardness.
