Moving our stock and warehousing to Righton Blackburns Portsmouth will give our Edenbridge customers access to a far wider and deeper range of stock than we can currently offer from our Edenbridge location.
This includes our Aerospace alloys and high integrity metals, our enhanced range of copper alloys and ‘special’ copper alloys and an extensive stock of plastics. All of which is in addition to our ‘standard’ stocks of stainless steel and aluminium.
Our Portsmouth Service Centre will continue to offer the same delivery service that our customers currently receive and with a larger fleet of vehicles available, we can be sure to cover any requirements both large and small.
The Portsmouth service centre is one of three AS 9100 REV D and AS 9120 REV B licensed sites in which Righton Blackburns’ Aerospace division stockholds and distributes aerospace and speciality alloys to the UK and worldwide markets.
Along with our other Aerospace centres, the Portsmouth Service Centre holds the prestigious Supply Chains for the 21st Century (SC21) Silver Award and is engaged in the SC21 supply programme - designed to boost the competitiveness of the Aerospace and Defence industry by significantly improving supply chain performance.
The move to Portsmouth will allow us to better offer productivity, competitiveness and logistics support to their wide variety of international sub tier end-user and supply chain customers including the likes of Airbus UK, Boeing, the MOD and Rolls-Royce.
Despite the warehouse move, we will still retain a Sales Office in Edenbridge to ensure continuity of service and communication to all of our customers in Kent, Surrey, Sussex and London.
