Copper Alloys, Aluminium BronzeAMS 4881 (C99520) Bar & Tube

A nickel alumimium bronze and one of the highest strength aluminium bronzes available.

An additional heat treating process is applied to AMS 4881, improving mechanical properties and the strength to weight ratio. This exceeds the range of typical aluminum bronzes.

UNS C99520 is commonly used in applications involving heavy loads abrasion, friction, and deformation at high temperatures. UNS C99520 can replace UNS C63020 with the advantage of this material being available in tube form.
